show Abstracthide AbstractIn this study, researchers compared the transcriptomes of two fruit fly species, Drosophila elegans and Drosophila gunungcola, in order to identify genes that may be involved in wing spot and wing display behavior. By analyzing the similarities and differences in gene expression between the two species, the researchers hope to identify potential candidate genes that may play a role in these behaviors. For which RNA-seq data was collected from both the species and sexes. The tissue type are head (at 0-day young and 5-day adult stages) and pupal wing (at P12 and P15 developmental stages) with five biological replicates per sample.
